ONGOING PROJECTS:

Greater Dhaka Sustainable Urban Transport Project (GDSUTP – BRT Gazipur to Airport) – Package 

  • Upgrading and widening of the pavement
  • Construction of Elevated BRT Lanes, including the Tongi Bridge, and BRT Stations

PREVIOUS PROJECTS:

With several railway projects under various stages of construction, Peoples has worked with international companies to help the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) with its infrastructure goals. Previously, Peoples was involved with Kalindee Rail Nirman (Engineers) Limited of India regarding GoB railway rehabilitation projects. As such, the two collaborated on the Laksham-Chandpur Project, including

  • Dismantling old tracks and completing railway line track renewal with 75 ‘A’ new rails
  • Rail welding
  • Laying new pre-stressed concrete sleepers (anti-vandal type)
  • Elastic rail clip lying (anti-vandal) of wooden sleepers as required with necessary fittings
  • Replacement of points & crossings, and trap points
  • Replacement of bridge timbers
  • Supply of ballast including packing etc. on a turnkey basis including supply of all materials, manpower, equipment/machineries, tools, plants and transportation as per project specifications
